You can choose from five tab types. They include Magento default description, additional information, and review, as well as custom HTML tabs and related product tabs. HTML tab allows merchants to use any information, and add visual content, widgets, and buttons.

• Accordion layout– arrange the tabs vertically one under another to leave a space on the right side of the page.

When choosing an accordion style you can configure tabs to stay always open or open them by clicking on them.

The accordion tab with all tabs open is a style to use if you want to leave a lot of space on the right side of the screen and there is not a lot of information to cover in tabs. Otherwise, it will take an eternity to scroll the page down, which is not user-friendly. Other styles offer more compact content displays.

Types of Product Tabs

Besides default Magento 2 product page tabs, the BelVG extension offers three more. Altogether they include the following tabs:

• Product Description – it’s a type of product detail tabs in Magento

• Additional Information – contains additional information about products such as parameters, and material.

• Reviews – contains the reviews about the product and fields to leave your feedback.

• We also recommend and Related products – cross-sell and up-sell blocks.

• HTML – the tab that can contain any type of information and content. Using Page Builder you can arrange blocks, insert video, widgets, test blocks.

While the information for the first five tabs is filled in in the product menu of the admin panel. The HTML tab is fully customizable via Page Builder of HTML code. You can create the required structure and add text, visual content, and widgets.

Specific Audience and Products

The admin can configure each tab to be visible:

• for users of a specific storefront or all of them
• on all product pages or one product
• for all users or one user group.

These configurations can be used in various ways.

One storefront or all storefronts

It is mostly related to the different countries the storefronts are made for. Sometimes information such as return policy, and payment can vary for different regions. In some of these cases, a spare tab will be useful.

All products or a specific product

This configuration can be extremely useful in case you have some unique products, and you will have to build a distinguished product page for them.

All users or user group

The most obvious purpose is to separate information for different customer groups. An example is B2B and B2C users that have different payment and delivery policies.
